My goals when l return to South Sudan.

So far what l have learned from my course work are many but l will mention a few of them, things like leadership skills, the importance of diversity, the development of underdevelopment, modernization, guide on ending extreme poverty and the reasons for education in emergency such as education for peace and citizenship. All these have given me a professional knowledge and equipped me with relevant research and teaching skills.

Upon my return home l will come up with educational programmes like the value of peace in a community and how they can start to empower themselves both from rural to urban communities and be the catalyst for gender equity in higher education through the media and a Non-profit NGO. The medium channel that l will use will be the radio this is because it transmit information faster and at least most people can afford to buy one. Secondly it can also educate those who are not in school both the young and the elderly. In conclusion, l believe this course will help me to facilitate understanding of concepts and principles and their application in learning and real life to foster improvement in the welfare of society.

  1. Joy, those are a great Ideas that you have talked about,do you think that through media and non profit NGOs should be the only ways to achieve those goals,or what are other strategies that you may use? I am just much interested to hear more.

  2. What great ideas. I like your plan to use the media and desire to focus on types of media the majority people have access to in South Sudan. I think Nura brings up some great points of thinking about other forms of media as well. Do you have any immediate ideas?
